Why I'm Voting Trump

Final thoughts heading into election day from my podcast.

I get it. Many people think Trump’s an asshole. Some people think he’s a Nazi. Some, a fascist. Others call him a ‘threat to democracy’. His haters tried to kill him, tried to put him in jail and have lied about him non-stop in the media. I get that he’s brash. I get that he’s a ruthless businessman. I get that he’s a billionaire. But no matter how vain and selfish he is, the headwinds he has stood down over the last 10 years — complete with Russian collusion myths, two impeachments, endless berating, namecalling and zero positive credit for anything he’s done from the left despite a decent 4 year track record of peace — have far outweighed what he deserves.

To boot, his stamina is otherworldly. He’s done about 250 campaign events in the last week — the tail end of years of non-stop campaigning — and then had the energy to dance to “YMCA” on stage last night while practicing his golf swing.

Joe Rogan said last week after their podcast: “He's got this ability to just keep going. This is what's crazy, like the podcast was three hours long. The guy didn't pee before the podcast. He didn't pee after the podcast. He just left."

Even if fueled by ego and selfishness, Trump is incredibly driven to win for our country and he’s more of a common sense candidate than Harris. As I said shortly after the assassination attempt on him this summer, I don’t care what drives him — because at least he’s driven to win. And I would vote for an upturned broom with a bucket for a head if its policies were anywhere to the right of the modern day Democratic party, which needs a complete and total reboot.

In my most recent podcast, recorded this past weekend, I talk about how the left has moved too far left and why Trump and his team are the obvious choice this election season for me. Happy listening.
