I really like Peter. He has been the patient prophet rejected in his hometown. The only problem is that the more right he is, the more fucked we all are. I would love to see precious metals at astronomical prices but I don’t want to think about how tough day to day life would be if that were the case.

It is so sad that every decision is based on buying votes with a short term damaging hand out, whether it's citizenship or cash.

Yesterday all but one of my junior miners acted like the fuse had been lit, ignition accomplished, and the moon trip began. Double digits all over the place. My portfolio of mining stocks was so bright green I had to turn down the brightness.

But it was only one day. Just need about 100 more and I’ll be back to even.

The same govt that allows a nation to be poisoned through it's food supply (factory food promoted through bureaucracies supporting corporations and their precious profits...) have turned human beings into couch potatoes with their necks sloped downward touching buttons on their surveillance devices while remaining in debt shuffling their way to the doctor...'All hail the American Derivative Economy and its' derivative people, god of the West".

While the Titanic sinks, the band still plays!

Some of us have spent our lives getting paid by specific people to meet their specific needs. That's what contractors such as myself do. If you charge too much, you don't get the job. If you charge too little, you go broke. It's a daily balancing act.

And then there's people who work for government. They get paid. Period. If they do a terrible job, they get paid. If they do a great job, they get paid. Nothing really matters. There is nothing on the line. Think of all the people who work either directly for government or derive their pay from government supplied funds. They have between little and nothing at risk. Incompetence is not a problem.

That sums up the problem. There are grown adults who believe that money is real, that printing more money makes everyone richer. And these grown adults are running our governments. We are screwed.

Unfortunately the immediate problem is not to get this level of thinking into the heads of the elected. It’s to get ANY level of thinking into the heads of the electorate - who feel they have a responsibility to vote, but NOT to think too deeply about it.

I’m not sure this is actually analysis it reads more like fear porn and threats about what the business class will do to punish the consumers. What the fuck is ARTIFICIAL demand for housing? You think record numbers of people living on the street is a choice they all made because they don’t actually WANT housing? Fuck you Peter scruff and the bullshit you rode in on.
