In a rational world the market would indeed crash on or before the Christmas pud is served....but you may have overlooked the craven obsession with a New Year's bonus that our magpie traders on Wall Street expect every year. I would suspect more likely a New Years event say in the first 2-6 weeks Of January when they are sitting conceitedly at their tables pushing their fatness over the lip. However, it is foolish to complain. They have taken us on a meandering tram journey that has made fortunes. Why complain ? But you are right it does have to end soon. Olivier
