At least the S&P had the balls to tell Elon to take a hike and no we won’t change the rules. Having said that I still won’t put money in a cap weighted index. Prefer individual stocks or ETFs with a 2 - 5 year outlook.

Micron’s pricing power is a negative for computer companies. APPL, MSFT, DELL, and HPE all down 3-6%.

You are correct, Sir.

Appreciated. I said "wicked" because I meant malevolent and literally diabolical!

The Grand Scale Of What We Face In Elliott Wave Terms:

-- Supercycle Wave I was the 1929 Top

-- Supercycle Wave II was the 1932 bottom

-- We are now at/near the end of Supercycle Wave III (after 94 yrs).

-- We will/are now entering Supercycle Wave IV Down

--The Final rise to Wave V up (100 yrs from now) will conclude Wave V Grand Super Cycle.

The 1970 Recession and the Dot Com Crash were Cycle events (1 degree less).

There are a total of 9 degrees in Elliott Wave Structure.

This is MUCH bigger than who is President

Avi Gilburt's afternoon comment with my wording added- 6/25

Wave 3 down within the larger C Wave has begun. That 3rd Wave breaks into 5 sub waves....we just had the 1st subwave. The second subwave might provide a small correction before a Very Powerful 3rd subwave jolts the Markets to substantially lower levels. Then the 4th subwave would offer a small corrective bounce before subwave 5 of the entire C Wave concludes.

5 waves work as follows: [1 Down - 2 Up - 3 Down - 4 Up - 5 Down] 3rd Waves are the longest.

QQQ up over 1% at noon. probably will go higher.

Perhaps, but both the DJI and Russell are still up.

Sure. But if you're looking for the tip of the spear in a bubble right now, it would be in the NASDAQ (AI, semis, tech, crypto, etc.).

It has been interesting watching the divergence between S&P/NASDAQ vs the DJI and the Russell the last few weeks. FYI- there is significant overlap in the top 10 in the S&P and NASDAQ. So they tend to move together with the tech sector moves. Just my observation.

James's avatar

Or we are seeing a rotation out of AI-related stocks and into more value, small cap, defensive ones?

I try to accentuate the positive than go black pill and doom.

That being said, we are due a correction. OTOH, rates are continuing to drop, so who knows.

James's avatar

All of the other indices are up and the NASDAQ has rebounded somewhat and is now down about 0.39%

Hi, James --The Nasdaq is consolidating (3 daily sideways candles) before a Very Probable real brutal decline. I am not a "doomer" I just know how to read the technical pattern and I want to communicate reality. I went into that detail on my ALERT post. You can Profit in ANY Market....that's really my point....not so "scare" you/anyone.

James's avatar

When do you expect that to happen? Tomorrow? Next week? Next month? December?

Lone Wolf's avatar

This isn't a guess - it's Math. We will be in a very rapid decent starting most likely tomorrow or Monday. When I talk about Daily Candlesticks I am talking about very short time frames. I understand this is all new, but it is VERY specific and tactically tradeable to a highly profitable degree.
