Her choice as VP candidate would almost be enough to give me hope. That, in terms of our politics, would be a huge step for me.

I like Tulsi and have a high opinion if her. Also, RFK Jr for a hard ass attorney general.

Chris ….God Damn!!!! You are such a breath of fresh air!!! Keep Going and Keep the Faith.

I appreciate your sentiment but could we STO{P voting for people because we like them, or because we like their image. The skill of surfing in no way translates into the ability to make law or administer government. That's like saying AOC is a good bartender, so she would make a good congresswoman.

Do we know if AOC is a good bartender though?

I'd like to think she's good for something.

One thing he shouldn’t do is pick a sitting senator as VP. That backfired with Sessions and would be even worse today given the makeup of the Senate. I think shortlist should include DeSantis or Tulsi.

I would be so freaking excited to vote if he would pick her. It's a no-brainer I my opinion. As a woman, I have reservations about which women I want to represent women. She's exactly the kind of woman I would choose. All merit and beautiful at that.

I'm such a fan. If I admired Tulsi any more than I do it would be frankly inappropriate.

Excellent points re Tulsi!

If not VP, how about secretary of defense?

Agree 100%. She is the only option on the table who can bring more votes to Trump. Everyone else overlaps with his existing base, especially Flynn, who might actually lose him votes. She is also the antidote to the one legitimate complaint that ordinary people have about him: being a chauvinist, womanizer, "white male pig," and all that. Her presence on the ticket as a multiracial woman would help with that.

You say that Gabbard "could probably kick Kamala Harris’ ass in a fight". It wouldn't be close AT ALL. Harris has spent her life shuffling paperwork; Gabbard is a professional soldier. Harris is 5'2" in height; Gabbard is 5'8". It wouldn't be anywhere near a fair fight. Gabbard would drop Harris like a bag of sand.

Tulsi checks all the boxes of the DEI craziness but has the bonafides to back up the meritocratic ones as well.

If I could dream a bit more, RFK Jr should be Attorney General just to put a good Fear of God in the MICIMATT, no more untouchables allowed... and FARA the AIPAC as first executive order.

I even as a stranger know they have unresolved and conflicting points but... let me dream

RFK Jr for Attorney General. He would be great in that role.

Absolutely! And given Trump's age if something happened to him in office, most people would feel comfortable with Tulsi becoming POTUS. She has good judgement.

Remember that Tulsi was a "young leader" at the WEF, I'd like to hear her discuss this. It is an easy explanation: she cut and run once she realized what it was about. Perfectly excusable, we've all done it.

BTW, a politician is not going to save this country because a politician is not running this country.

Go into your community and find the need and fix it. OR....that thing you complain about most: GO CHANGE IT! For heaven's sake, get off the internet.

Huge fan of Tulsi. Trump picking another white man is bad optics. She could be an excellent vp

Sorry Chris. I like her but a bridge to far with Tulsi. I like her personally and revere her military service but putting her into the VP fold doesn't work for two reasons. Economically she thinks like a progressive. And then there is the media dance that will be replayed that she's a Russian tool for Putin. And we will have Russian -Trump conspiracy Act 2. I do believe she would be better served as a UN ambassador or NATO advisor.

Loyalty is a big deal for Trump. Carson, Vance or Vivek .

Love & respect Dr. Carson, I think he is too old ( Trump has says he’s looking for someone who could be president out of the gate & go for 2 terms.

Expand full comment

Carson sleep walks through events, and too old; Vance adds nothing that Trump doesn't already have, plus is taller than Trump; Vivek speaks too rapidly and is too ambitious. Nobody more loyal than Elise Stefanik.
