"What’s needed is a paradigm change away from the notion of monetary policy, which accepts a monetary system dictated by the central bank and politicians."
You’re in Baltimore Chris? Is the bridge collision and collapse a black swan? I’m sure one of the early videos of it sounded like you saying “Holy f@ck!”…as the bridge comes down. Anyway, hope you’re all well and have enough provisions for the next few days and weeks.
I just hope that President Trump picks Vivek as his VP. Then appoint him as the “Commissioner” of overhauling all of the Deep State. Then give him the powers to act.
Vivek spoke so very clearly about all of the issues.
As a side note to the article, Vivek is the only candidate who can speak knowledgeably about the Fed. All of the others are clueless about that, and are bought and paid for by the individuals who benefit the most by the Fed’s actions.
Excellent post by Mr. Ray, summed up well in his concluding paragraph. The idea that monetary policy can be tweaked here and there by a central bank to produce the "right" outcome is bogus.
The very purpose of the Fed's existence is also bogus. As German economist Oskar Morgenstern once commented, “the idea that as complex a phenomenon as the change in a ‘price level’, itself a heroic theoretical abstraction, could…be measured to such a degree of accuracy is…simply absurd.”
Baltimore, get the fuck out of that place, Trump gave Elijah sixteen thousand million dollars and he didn't even call Terminex. I wonder if they checked his freezer(s).
It will only be when the USD loses its monopoly on legal tender that crypto (Ethereum, not Bitcoin) will be able to provide a mechanism for competing monetary systems.
