But the larger point I was trying to make is, the people are lying down and permitting the (illegal) mandates to have the effect of law, which they're not. In several areas such as healthcare workers and transportation workers, resistance to mandates has caused economic disruptions of such magnitude the companies have backed down. They WILL back down if resistance is strong. Where it hasn't been, mandates have taken the force of law and the people are paying for their passivity with their lives.
