The say that the definition of stupidity is doing the same things over and over again, and expecting a different result. That makes the people who control our governments really, really, stupid.

The government is the problem.

In 2020 when the government paid ppl to stay home - artificially increased the min wage. Jobs that used to pay $8-9/ hour were forced to pay $15 or more to get them to come back to work. These jobs are the infrastructure of day to day basics. I will use food for example - Friend of mine owns a packaging company that does work for Quaker Oats and other processed foods. His cost of labor was up 70% in 2020 to get people to come back to work. Due to contracts that took 12-24 months to get passed back to the food manufactures. Then you have the grocery stores - again jobs that used to pay $8-9 / hour are now paying $15-20. Plus they had to hire additional people to do the "online shopping services." I would assume that food manufactures had cost of employees increase too.

So I simple box of granola bars just went through 3 levels of employee cost that rose from 50-100%.

But it's easier to say Grocery stores are price gouging.

Now we just wrapped 15 years of inflation in key every day needs into 2 years. Food, Housing, Insurance (home and car) are all up 50% or more.

But the MSM loves to tell you it's all good now, we are back to 2.7% inflation.
