Milei is a dynamo. But also, a lot of Argentinians are sick and tired of having their backs against the wall all the time. Americans, especially wealthy liberals, are fat and longing to fix made up problems. It will take economic collapse to wake them up.
So basically he’s a running dog for the globalists trying to save the dollar system out of the frying pan into the fire in hopes the dollars can find enough greater fools
Javier Milei is an original, creative, free thinking leader not bound by party dictates. He thinks clearly, sees through politically expedient or progressive dogma, and makes decisions that in the long run will benefit Argentina. Let's just hope he has good security personnel watching his back.
It'll take a generation to fix the issues in Argentina. You can't turn a nation of parasites into entrepreneurs overnight.
Milei is on the right track IMO, but it is all about the commitment of the people in Argentina to the ideology. The US certainly wouldn't have the patience for austerity. We will go the inflation route.
Even if they have no better choice, Argentinians may boot Milei out when things get difficult.
We're coming into a global recession where Argentina will compete against nations that run up debt to pump their gdps.
I saw the waste at the city/county/state level as an auditor, which I am sure is similar at the Federal level: a lot of well paid and excellent benefits employees doing nothing for most of the day. Coffee, solitaire, social hour, lunch, an hour of work, more solitaire, another social hour, time to go home at 4:30pm.
Slash it all and give cash incentives to increase productivity/efficiency.
