They fixate on these inanimate objects because it’s proven to be the most effective way to usurp our rights and distract us peons. Do they investigate (honestly) where Covid came from? Effective treatments that don’t involve mandatory profits for experimental vaccines? No. They fixate on the mask. Whether you get Covid or not it’s the blessed mask.

Do they investigate whether or not certain drugs may be causing people to snap? Investigate why the blind eye is given to young men clearly suffering? Do they talk about why the cops froze? A psycho left alone for an hour could have killed the same number of people with a flintlock musket. No instead it’s the inanimate object that is declared unholy.

I’m not so much mad that the elites try this. I’m disgusted that our fellow citizens carry the water for them to get away with it.

Roughly 450 people a year are murdered with rifles. Millions of people own rifles, yet their logic is to confiscate rifles not focus on the root causes nor countering the incredibly rare case of a nutbag shooter.

It's the same twisted logic that they use for everything - lockdown all of productive society for a disease that poses a risk for the immune compromised and the elderly (who were ALWAYS at risk of any number of diseases). Decimate personal liberties "temporarily" for all of society to supposedly prevent a terrorist attack, never mind the fact that they've never caught anyone through these methods and have never even considered giving back those rights after proving to be almost useless or totally abused for other uses.

It only doesn't make logical sense if you assume that these people in power are interested in helping the greater good of the people. Once you view things through the lens of a reality where they are only interested in amassing more power, more money, and in creating a totalitarian system where they are in control, then everything makes perfect sense.

The Founding Fathers were geniuses and foresaw all of this, and set up the system precisely to fight these types of people. I never understood biblical evil until I saw enough of the world to understand the depravity of the goals of people in power. It's just human nature and like our predecessors throughout history, it's our choice to either submit and become the property of the elite or fight for our freedoms.

Uvalde was the same script they used on Sandy Hook. When they were busy using 100% of the fear porn (MSM) on COVID so they could scare enough people into taking their slow kill bioweapons, there were ZERO shootings on tv. Now that they want to take the guns, we see one every day.

Agreed. Also why the definition of “mass shooting” keeps expanding.

Unlike Australia, the US has a large geography that is not easily controlled by a central government. The majority of Australia's population reside in Sydney and Melbourne which make controlling an unarmed population relatively easy. The same is true for Europe and New Zealand. The government is scared of its citizens. You only need to look at the January 6th riots and the governments reaction to reach that conclusion. They know they can not stop a large, armed population. However, the real problem is people don't vote in large numbers. Even if the system is rigged, if people voted and held politicians accountable, we would not be in this situation. Since people don't vote and continue to keep the same fools in office, it is no surprise that the politicians ignore the will of the people. They know they will never be accountable to the voter and a compliant media will spin and cover for their poor decisions. Unfortunately, we have the government we deserve.

I had some gold once, some silver too. I used it for ballast in my little dinghy. A little too much ballast I think as the whole damn mess is now somewhere on the bottom of Lake Erie.

Yeah, i dumped my guns and gold by accident too!

Lol, I should have used my lead for ballast but it was all jacketed by brass.

Canada may not have gold reserves, but there's plenty of oil in them thar hills. Just need to turn up the heat a bit on the population to get rid of the ideological fools currently in charge.

As far as guns, the latest estimates I have heard are that there are 370,000,000 guns in the US, owned by the peons…. And 40 percent of the US Population and growing, owns guns…. So, about 132,000,000 Americans own those guns…. If the feds come to take them, and a half of one percent resist (most people estimate 3% would resist)……. Then that would be about 132,000 altercations.. three percent would be about 4,000,000 altercations…. Either way, that is a lot of violent deaths of peons and feds, on par with Mao’s crushing of the population….. I really dont think that would be tolerated by the US population, do you?

COVID taught us clearly… the American people don’t have a boiling point.

People don't "need" most of the items they use for entertainment and recreation. Like shooting and owning guns because it is an enjoyable pastime. Non-shooters are always excited when I offer to take them to the range.

I also wonder how the folks in power think they will be able to confiscate weapons from the 100 million armed citizens, are are that way in support of the 2nd amendment.

I enjoy your writing and usually find myself in agreement. I don’t know for sure if you have children but something has to be done to stop this school bullshit

Expand full comment

Agree. Fire teachers who prop open school exterior doors. Take down the Gun Free Zone signs. Allow Vets to serve as armed Resource Officers. All can be done in weeks at very low cost -- if we are serious about protecting children at schools.

Teacher is suing the City because she never “propped’” the door open. More distorting of the facts around this tragedy by the Texan authorities.

So you think all vets have PTSD?.. sounds a little assumption to me

But it all goes back to mental illness and secure schools, not taking my rights. I have grand kids in school

Expand full comment

There should be at least two police officers in every school, starting from elementary school. They should walk the halls, know the kid's names, sit with them at lunch. Officer Friendly is there to keep them safe, be a good influence on kids heading in the wrong direction and prevent the schools from being the target of sick freaks. So many reasons to harden schools with police, I there's no logic in keeping them out.

Good thing your not in charge of the world. Your solution: a bigger police state. Brilliant.

Expand full comment

Too bad she doesn’t know how Australia to Japan to UK handled mass shooters without police officers in every school 🙄

How did having a heavily police state work for North Korea? Dictatorships and authoritarian countries like Nazi Germany to Russia require lots of police, causing embezzlement of government funds and stealing from the people they were sworn to serve and protect.

Crazy ppl think a police state is the answer, more police isn’t the answer, common sense and investing into the well-being of society is the answer.

By the time I was 30 and had come to terms with the civil liberty power grabs that occurred in the wake of 9/11, it started to take shape as to why, exactly, the NRA draws such a bold line about what they are willing to give ground on (almost nothing).

Like your writing , Must take issue here with the above . If you look to the history of the NRA going back to the 30's they are Washington's largest gun control lobby . Yeah I 'm a gun owner . NO I have never joined or gave the NRA a dime .

America's largest gun control organization

Publish photos of the victims. Covid, guns. Both highly suppressed, I suppose for "our own good." Then again, I think they should have public executions. When the state takes a life it shouldn't be in some closed off room. Show it. Televise it. This is what happens when you are convicted of the crime with the ultimate penalty. I really think it should be abolished because it costs so much more to go through years of legal wrangling. Put $4 million away and lock em up and toss the key. More cost effective

Man didn’t realize you were this far right. What says a society who fails to protect innocent school children? There are a lot of things we can do that will still respect 2A.

Amazing you instead politicize it instead of discussing how American society is breaking down. I bet if instead of majority white males school shooting up schools, churches, and malls but it was Muslim men with AR-15s, we’d enact common sense background checks and waiting periods, etc. to ensure whoever is buying a gun is a responsible, mature adult citizen with no questionable background and passes basic gun safety examinations, etc.

How many gun laws are enough ? How many are on the books already ?

Gun ownership doesn’t mean far right. Plenty of lefty liberals own firearms and support the right to own them.

Expand full comment

I should’ve been more clear, a far right talking point is that the left is going to take away 2A, no, not going to happen as majority Americans support responsible gun ownership. It’s like the far right saying the left is going to defund the police, the far left idiots maybe but Biden and the Democrats increased police budget. So both parties are idiots for increasing our police state, a more authoritarian police state doesn’t make us safer because there’s so many deadbeat cops out there like there’s deadbeat mass shooters to gun violence in Chicago, etc. We need to address these losers in society from both right and left and don’t give them easy access to guns, it should be damn hard for these idiots to get guns like how we regulate access to controlled substances and so on

And how will the govt confiscate gold? Like the illegal gun registry they are already compiling from raids on these 4473 forms, the government will trace how your gold was purchased. The on ramp, or the off ramp of the fiat you paid when you bought it, or what you receive when you sell it. A little like BTC or like civil asset forfeiture, they will then declare you to fork over your gold and it will be up to you to prove that you don't have any, pay a hefty property tax on it like your car and house if you insist on holding it or a punitive penalty when you try to sell it.

just like they did in the 30's make it illegal to own and if you have it in a bank they take it .
