May we remember the wars this country has fought, have been fought by and large by teenagers. I'm glad they're loose, and I hope all the sacred cows will be sent to the meat factory.
Don’t forget, it was the freshly minted best and brightest of the universities that the likes of the Big Five professional service firms unleashed on corporations to audit and reengineer processes. DOGE is as much a tool for data analytics and software engineering and these youngsters know that shit inside out - Microsoft, Google, Facebook, Apple didn’t have old farts starting them…
I have no problem whatsoever with any of what DOGE is doing, and, frankly, think anyone who does is missing the forest for the trees. Or possibly in on the take.
This has been a long time in coming - like a century of built-up grift mechanisms. It all needs to be gutted and rebuilt. The people crying about DOGE are just protecting that scam. There is no 4th branch of "independent" gov't in the Constitution.
Which means the work DOGE is doing NEEDS to be done in blitzkrieg style to keep the defenders of this indefensible status quo from finding workarounds.
To answer the question as to why Europe has better stuff: because we Americans pay for it. Europe has used the US for decades now. We pay for their military spending, which allows them to use that money elsewhere. We also pay for their Rx drug costs b/c they cap Rx prices. As one Rx exec told me: "someone has to pay for the R&D and it pretty much has to be US consumers b/c Europe caps prices and it's politically impossible to pass costs on to developing nations." Even with us subsidizing their lifestyle, their socialist welfare states are still collapsing under their own weight.
So, we've been getting hosed for decades. Our leaders have been funneling money to friends and family and political allies for decades. Taking it from us and even using it against us (as in the censorship regime we all just lived through). The USAID revelations showed us one mechanism for that hosing. The SSN revelations are showing another. And DOGE hasn't even gotten to the big fish in DoD and CDC. I hope they work even more aggressively.
Couldn’t agree more. I suspect the prosperity of our country has been suffocated and grifted for so long that we don’t truly grasp much less appreciate its full potential. To have the boot off our throat for just a second is all that’s necessary; show our country and especially our youth the possibility and we will find the faith to fight for it. I think that ‘Big Balls’ was exactly what was necessary. While I love guys like Ron Paul, someone young had to do this. It was a child who declared the emperor had no clothes. Only the young and innocent can break this paradigm.
Great points. Sorry for the long reply. Never been more hopeful. The people fighting against these efforts are just protecting their scam. In Fraud they Trust.
Trump's admin is multi-generational and cross-political. IMO those attempting to process this via standard 20th century "left vs. right" politics have it all wrong. This is the 3rd party. A 3rd party overthrew a ruling faction, took their party, and then won the general. If they are genuine and succeed, we'll have basically a new country. Genuine revolution is always by young (real) men (with big balls).
IMO, we've been propagandized/brainwashed to believe we had a "capitalist" system, but for decades it's been closer to Soviet-style socialism. Fraudulent, old, decaying and working against its own people.
To support ever-growing fraud, everything has been taxed and regulated. Inputs, outputs, infrastructure, distribution, transactions, and on top of that, the income of everyone already being taxed by those other taxes. Gov't uses regulation to set/protect markets and choose winners. It's the mafia model implemented at scale.
But, imagine cutting or putting most of that revenue to use for Americans instead of for vanity projects and destabilization efforts. Add to that fewer regulations, and...like you said, I don't think we can process how much better things could be.
Feels like the country is waking up from a collective learned helplessness or Stockholm syndrome.
I re-watched the HBO miniseries ‘Chernobyl’ this last week. If you saw it, you will remember how the lies created such a burden, that it almost allowed a disaster and catastrophe to turn into a universally devastating event. There was a memorable line in there, ‘every lie creates a debt to the truth and eventually that debt must be repaid’. Was COVID and the Biden administration our Chernobyl? The beginning of the curtain pull, where things got bad enough to finally see the lies for what they were? To see the cynicism in all these actions? We all know our politicians are corrupt; no one creates a multimillion fortune in public life, and none of them are performing Tony Robbins-level speaking events either. It’s graft plain and simple. But will we get enraged? Is America capable of that? Are we capable of saying, ‘Not on my watch and never again.’?
It is just not the last 4 years - it has been going on for decades. It was just easier for them to hide the corruption before the internet / social media.
I really hope that they find the kick backs to representatives to Congress and they are charged with a crime (I'm ok with Treason).
Only way to clean it up for good is to set an example of FAFO - life in prison or even worse.
There is no way that our budget went from $4T in 2019 to $7T in 2025 without an abundance of waste and fraud.
Since 2009 - 60% of all M2 has been created. So the first 230 years of the United States created only 40% of the M2 and balance in the past 15 years.
I do not care how old Big Balls is - lets unwind this while we still have a chance. And punish those who profited off this, so it never happens again.
100% agree. Michael Shellenberger - who's one of the more rational "both sides do it" types and a liberal - recently published an article straight up accusing some of these people of treason for colluding with foreign agencies to impeach the President in his first term. It was treason. And there is likely a lot more to be found.
I also really hope the Epstein list is released. I keep wondering why they stalled so much on Kash's confirmation. Part of me thinks the Uniparty is buying the criminals some time to destroy evidence, get their affairs in order, and get out of town.
I hope they find the CHINA connections to the fraudsters in government. Didn't Napoleon says something along the lines 'I knew government officials could be bought but I didn't realise how cheaply'. Trump needs to get this job done 110%, any less and they'll come back stronger.
No one on the DOGE team gives a rat’s ass about your personal data, financial or otherwise. They are creating a network map showing money flows and calling out those that are illegitimate. It’s high time, and God bless them. I’m pretty sure you also know that awkward geeks make up funny names for themselves and their buddies. So what?
You underscore a simple truth: when conventional governance fails repeatedly, sometimes only radical change can jolt the system back into accountability. It’s time those in charge are held to the same standard as the rest of us, even if that means enduring a bit of chaos to force long-overdue reforms.
While the methods of DOGE might seem reckless to some, they serve as a brutally honest mirror reflecting the ineptitude and double standards of our government. After years of cozying up to waste, fraud, and misplaced priorities, unleashing a force that doesn’t hesitate to shake things up is not only justified—it’s necessary.
I would rather have a fellow nicknamed "Big Balls" searching through government records, personal or otherwise, looking for fraud, waste, and abuse, than have a guy nicknamed "Small Balls" doing the job.
Elites were given free reign for at least 50 years. These are the smart, responsible people? No. I have received numerous notices in the mail from huge companies, including health insurance and medical companies, about my information being stolen. I'm much less worried about any doge member. In my opinion, the people who are worried beyond belief probably should be worried. What is the difference between an unelected pencil pusher and another unelected, but more intelligent tech worker? Anyone who uses TikTok can also please stfu. 😂 We can't afford to wait until the dollar is worth more as toilet paper than money and that's where we've been headed. Will there be some things that get cut and have to be replaced? Sure. Do I care? Nope. Not even a little bit. I am prepared to back this administration no matter what for 1 year. No. Matter. What. I'll re-evaluate Jan 20, 2026.
If "the establishment (meaning I presume the Deep State) reasserts control" then we are totally screwed and WFO/SHTF Day will be imminent. We are in the middle of the beginning of a Counterrevolution - and it will either proceed and succeed or be halted and fail. In the case of the former we will restore the Constitution and the Republic; in the case of the latter we will become subjects of a Totalitarian "Democracy". Fun part is - Everyone gets to choose a side; in the end there aren't going to be any "Neutrals"
I have no problem with DOGE and what it's doing. I've lost trust in all of Society's institutions from the government to the higher education system. The only one I care about is family.
If DOGE is just getting started, I want it to go deep and expose everything about the corrupt government, politicians, and any other entanglement. If a private company or individual did these things, they'd be bankrupt or in prison but the government always gets a pass for some reason.
If I had my way, I'd like the government reduced by 90%+. It's too large and corrupt. I hope DOGE continues in future Republican administrations.
Due to my distrust still, I'm still skeptical. A billion here and there is great to find, but it's minor when the number is now in the trillions.
Hyperinflation and the loss of the dollar as the world's reserve currency may be the only way to truly bring back accountability to the government.
In my career, I was involved with cost cutting into the $100s of millions. You need to move fast, go deeper than you think, etc. to get any traction. Even in a real, highly functional business, there is so much inertia against it that you have to blow through. You can always hire back or fix things you break alot easier than getting the cost out in the first place. The other benefit is once you start cutting big, people stop trying to spend money on stupid things.
“(DOGE) having access to all types of critical government systems, including those at the Treasury and the Social Security Administration…”
This is a red herring, thrown out by those who see the end result coming at them like a freight train while they sit on the tracks. Their gravy train, courtesy of the US taxpayer, borrowed money, and a deeply corrupt government (every facet, especially the US Congress) is about to end.
Wailing about ‘privacy’ is about all they have left. But it’s a useless and feckless argument. Everyone whining has already given up their privacy. And a lot of it has been given up willingly, via Social Media.
What hasn’t been given up willingly doesn’t matter. The NSA database contains every email you ever wrote, every text you ever sent, every phone call you ever made, every credit card transaction (including acct #, etc) and all your social media posts. Oh, and that porn site you visited through your VPN? Yep, they have that too. LOL.
Obamacare wasn’t about healthcare. It was about a centralized database, giving the NSA access to your medical records. So yeah, they have that as well. And they already had your SSN and your DL.
The left wing lunatics, and the few on the right who have joined the chorus need to do better. Some of them are likely being genuine in making ‘privacy’ the issue. And that is astonishing on its own. Anyone who believes that their is any privacy remaining hasn’t been paying attention.
I don't have a problem with accountabilty, its been a long time coming. But you have to watch it for unintended consequences. Firing 40% of the people how handle FHA will have an effect on housing. It has to.
May we remember the wars this country has fought, have been fought by and large by teenagers. I'm glad they're loose, and I hope all the sacred cows will be sent to the meat factory.
Let's see what the teenagers can find about Epstein and Maxwell. Gulp.

"All wars are bankers' wars " - Smedley D. Butler (War Is a Racket)
I would just add that politicians and banks, particularly central banks, are the ones who profit from killing the younger generations.
DOGE is not overshootung its mark.
They are on the bullseye. Which explains all the flak.
There is much hidden in the swamp which is smothered with $$$$ from who knows where.
We the People vote....Transnationals write checks. Who does the swamp listen to?
Expose them...now!

Why would DOGE generate anymore distrust than current incompetents in these agencies.

It is. Feel free to share it.
