One thing that we did not walk away with after the covid hoax was the idea that any "emergency" must have measurable parameters that are well defined and that the exit condition, along with an expiration date, must be provided at the outset.

Clearly allowing the government to declare open-ended and hardly-defined "emergencies" is nothing other than allowing unlimited authoritarian tyranny.

The other thing that we didn't walk away with, although many great minds strenuously argued the point, that it is precisely during "emergencies" that basic human rights must remain in place.

I mean, what is the limit? Can the government declare that you have no right to even life because some imagined "emergency" is so dire? How far away are they from that when they can dictate every single thing about how you live your life and institute martial law essentially?

Let's talk about how CO2 is 0.04% of the atmosphere and what *precisely* is the end goal? Is it 0.03%? Surely it cannot be 0%. What is the number and what specific measures are available to make the change that they say we need?

Also the bullshit about climate *change* is just another hand-wavy unmeasurable pseudo condition that clearly has no end. Change? Change how? Never change? Less change? Measured how? Over what period?

The entire thing is a crock of shit.

I don't understand the US going to net zero - if China, India and other countries do not follow the same. The damage is being done to the environment. Can anyone explain to me how that benefits the environment?

If Hillary or any president attempt their "emergency" powers again - I think this will be the next civil war. Or a number of states will join Texas to leave the union.

Ultimately the way our society has progressed the past 8-10 years - I think a National divorce is the only solution. There is so much hate in this country and there is no way we ever come back to the middle.

We will need to split into 2 or 3 different countries and allow people to chose the citizenship based on beliefs / government structure going forward. Which may be a better thing to get the ball started now before it's too late. We had a good 250 year run as a union - but sometimes it is better for the kids if the adults split up so they stop fighting.
