I agree with everything, except for the part that ‘Bitcoin may help.’ p.s. I’m visiting Russia now, had to travel with lots of cash (Euros) but then decided to open a local bank account so I wouldn’t have to worry about leaving cash in my hotel room when sightseeing. Do you think that there are ANY Russian banks or businesses that accept BTC, despite the heavy sanctions? Njet...! 😉

From what country did you enter Russia? I am checking to see how difficult it would be to travel there from the US at this time.

And I agree, BTC is not the answer. Using my credit card is about as digital as I want to get. Leave my cash alone. You will know the war on cash has gone full retard when Walmart no longer accepts cash.

FYI: other places that still offer flights to-from are Beograd/Belgrade Serbia, many cities in Turkey, Cairo & Hurghada & Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt (many Russians go on vacation in Turkey and Egypt), or Dubai UAE.

I entered via Yerevan, Armenia which also seems like a very nice and interesting place. I’m thinking of stopping for a few days on my way back home.
