The nugget of reality that I pay for. Words that say so much yet are so few in number:

“Low interest rates allowed stupidity to thrive. “

What a statement. BAM!!!

Already restacked, as everyone should do whether you agree or not. This is the bear case both articulately and humorously described, which is difficult to accomplish. As opposed to the shrill naysayers often on financial shows, rather than turn this off you want to keep reading this so you can smile at Chris’ next analogy. Well done, since I agree with you conceptually and directionally , even if not in all details and to the degree of consequences which you imply.

But I am very disappointed that you missed the biggest beneficiary of all of the low rate regime. Namely, the multitude of governments who the low rates allowed to finance their profligate and non productive spending. That is the real sh… that will hit the fan. Everything else is a derivative consequence.Their central banks will either have to allow fiscal dominance to hit the fan or cause a severe recession and rest at the least. This is the consequence of those banker’s irresponsibility in “ staying in their lanes”and not shouting from the rooftops at every opportunity that our current fiscal irresponsibility is unsustainable.
