That, sir, was a glorious line. Superbly satisfying to read.

The ability of humans to rationalize their behavior is limitless so I don’t know if Tapper views himself as knowingly participating in a cover up. Him and the rest of the media blob can effortlessly internalize the need to toe whatever the required propaganda line of the day while simultaneously viewing themselves as fearless journalists doggedly pursuing the truth and holding power to account. This is required for Tapper to have the job he has. It’s like that old interview where Noam Chomsky is interviewing some media hack and the hack is like (I’m paraphrasing) “how can you say I’m propaganda? No one’s telling me what to say” and Chomsky says “I’m sure you believe that. I’m sure you believe everything you’re saying. Because if you didn’t you wouldn’t be sitting in that chair”

❤️❤️❤️Am almost always impressed by Megyn , but missed this interview and was not inclined to bother to watch it. Figured it would only reinforce what I thought about Tapper. Which is that anyone who attempts to make a lot of money by writing a mea culpa for aiding in a coverup which endangers our democracy can never be trusted both because if the mea culpability is sincere he is delusional and if not he has no moral compass. But you changed my mind, I will strongly consider watching this - it might be very enjoyable. Also a master class in attempted obfuscation and misdirection.

Just watch the first 30 mins.

Thanks. I won’t even attempt to multitask as I often do.

So Chris, I do not know if you have a line of merch (and you should), but DumbassDoubleDown™ must absolutely go on a T-shirt. Unsure if it is a standalone statement or incorporated in something else clever, but I think it would sell. It's a good one.

I watched the first 30 minutes of the interview and bowed out. Fake Tapper is the ultimate “White Dude for Harris.” He’s beta incarnate. He is protoDemocrat.

He didn’t need 200 anonymous sources. He just needed a mirror that he could gaze into it and ask himself, “hey who covered this Biden story up?” To which he could smugly reply, “THIS GUY!” while pointing to himself. The why is simple: access and other “benefits,” like tip offs…

I’d still love to know why out of 70+ Trump rallies CNN only covered June 18th, June 22nd, June 28th and finally the July 13 Butler, PA rally, live. Then mysteriously vanished again. So strange. Coincidence I’m sure.

Supposedly, Jake Tapper is an adult. But there he was, with chocolate icing all around his mouth and on his fingers, being questioned by a real adult about who ate all the cake. "I don't know! Ask Suzie! She ate it!"

These people in the media have been coddled all of their lives. It's perpetual childhood, never having to own up to their lies, poor behavior and juvenile understanding of the world. And here's Tapper behaving like an overgrown child for all the world to see. Yes, it was glorious to watch, but also head-shakingly pathetic.

Once credibility is lost it cannot be recovered. I haven't listened to a thing that he or anyone in the corporate media have said since they started calling all white men nazies. They are all dead to me and I couldn't care less about what they say or do.

During the campaign for the 2020 Demo presidential nomination, Bernie Sanders was the leader and Joe Biden was a very distant fourth plsce Then...something happened.... the South Carolina primary, Joe Biden won ! The fix was in. It was in all the way.

The basis of trust is being eroded by a Transnational captured MSM. It's an attack few notice because it's so "normal".

Sanders even admitted it to Andrew Schultz on his podcast recently. Yet, he sticks with the Democrats. Stockholm Syndrome?

“””when I randomly met her a couple of years ago in Atlantic City, she was warm, endearing, and genuinely kind to a total stranger who had almost certainly had one too many vodka tonics in him.“”” sounds like a great story for a QTR Behind the Scenes episode!

I agree with everything you’ve said here. I wish those in the administration showed as much fire as she did. I’d say I’d hope she could join the administration but it seems everyone in there has been subdued in some way. So I’m glad she can be a legit voice on the outside.

Also, how does she look even better now than when she was on Fox???

She’s stunning in person.

She's a fucking savage, and hot!

Nice piece Chris.

That is what I've been saying and thinking all along. If he had in the Introduction to the Book (and the interviews) said that (a) my "original sin" was to be complicit or not curious enough or actively avoiding the truth that we all could see and (b) this book is an attempt to right that wrong, yes, too little too late, but people might have taken him more seriously.

She's full of GLP-1, and he's full of shit. Biden did this to all of us. His vanity prevented him from announcing that he would not run for re-election before the midterms. His handlers could have encouraged him to not do that. Also this was not a watershed election. The electoral College overstates the margin of victory. If the idiot Dems hadn't decided to make LGBTQ++++ the hill they wanted to die on, about 2-3% of the voters, especially low propensity voters would/could have swung things the other way. 38% of voters didn't vote for anyone.

Glad you ran that special the other day for 70% off. I was a subscriber back during Covid and tapped out on your constant drum beating against the Covid narrative. I now humbly stand corrected. And a good lesson that even if I disagree with something, that should cause me to pause and think. Happily back and taking in every article. Appreciate the no nonsense way you write. Refreshing and enlightening.
