Liberty. Finance. Bullshit.

“Fringe Finance” is a collection of thoughts and investment decisions I make personally that aren’t included in my Twitter feed or on my podcast. The number one question I get from my listeners and Patrons is how I am investing personally.

At “Fringe Finance” I can share that, with some limited detail, and also put down additional thoughts on macro and politics.

Nothing on this blog is investment advice, life advice, political advice or otherwise. Do your research elsewhere and consult your personal financial advisor and/or therapist with any issues. Please leave me alone.

Fringe Forum posts are unlocked for 24 hours for open discussion then archived for subscribers only.

The purpose of this blog is to not only provide you with my unadulterated, unedited thoughts that I likely can’t post on Twitter or elsewhere, but also to give you content from “THE FRINGE” - literally the areas where the mainstream media and mainstream finance won’t shine lights.

I spent years reading news that, in my opinion, often missed the point and buried the lede. Up until a couple years ago, I just thought it was because the mainstream media needed to be careful. Now, it has become clear it is likely due to the mainstream media and mainstream financial media’s purpose to drive a narrative.

I am here to push back on that narrative.

I will commit to trying to get as close to the truth hidden in darkness as possible.

While inevitably, sometimes what I post may not be correct or turn out to 100% be the objective truth, I find that discourse is the most important part. At least the items will be up for discussion. And most importantly, I trust my readers to take the facts on their own and draw their own conclusions.

Welcome to the fringe.

I often own positions in names I discuss on my blog. None of this is a solicitation to buy or sell securities. It is only a look into my personal opinions and portfolio. These positions can change immediately as soon as I publish this, with or without notice. You are on your own. Do not make decisions based on my blog. I exist on the fringe.

These are not the opinions of any of my employers, partners, or associates. I get shit wrong a lot. If I am here listing things I got right or things I think will happen in the future, note that there are likely twice as many things I got wrong over the same period of time. I’m not a financial advisor, I hold no licenses or registrations and am not qualified to give advice on anything, let alone finance or medicine. Talk to your doctor, talk to your financial advisor or your therapist. Leave me a alone and do your research elsewhere. If you can find somewhere to rate this Substack one star, please do so as to save future readers from the misery of my often wholly incorrect prognostications.
